*Sorry to spam you guys with what are just rough pages from my sketchbooks, but it's such a cute story:at the little stone Victorian museum I help at, a Japanese family were having trouble understanding the signs, & as they came to ask for my help, they noticed my sketchbook, & commented on my ladies in traditional costume(fairly lame!)...they had never heard of this book, wriitten by a Japanese noblewoman, & when the daughter explained I was copying poems from a 10th century Japanese book, they insisted on filming me to show everyone back home...really sweet, & totally embarrassing!!
